About the event
What happens at a Good To Go Café?
No agenda. No pressure. You don't need to have lost someone, be facing illness or have anything in particular to say. People arrive curious, sometimes a bit nervous, and almost always leave lighter than they came. Conversations wander wherever the group takes them. Funerals and what we'd want at the end. Memory and meaning. How we'd actually like to spend the time we've got.
Why talk about death?
Because it tends to do the opposite of what people expect. It's rarely morbid. It's honest, often funny, and surprisingly life-affirming. Make space for these conversations and the big stuff gets a little less frightening, while life gets a little more precious.
Who can come?
Everyone, from Wangaratta and across North East Victoria. Some sessions have a special guest, others are just an open conversation among whoever turns up. No experience needed. Just bring…
